¶ Introduction
Cura is a free and open-source slicer software that prepares your 3D models for printing. It is developed by Ultimaker and is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Cura is recommended for use with Ultimaker 3D printers, but it can be used with many other 3D printers as well.
¶ Installation
¶ Via Ultimaker website
You can download the latest version of Cura from the Ultimaker website.
¶ Via CLI
You can also install Cura via the command line using the following commands:

brew --cask install cura

¶ Configuration
¶ Add printer
- Choose add printer in the upper left side.
- Sellect add a non-networked printer
- Click Prusa 3D and select Prusa i3 Mk2
¶ Machine setting
- Choose Manager printers in the upper left side.
- Click Prusa i3 Mk2 and select Machine Settings
- Follow the Printing Parameters below and fill into the blanks.

¶ Slicing model
- Save your model as stl. file.
- Open it with Cura software.
